When should fans in Britain tune in for Sony's PlayStation State of Play?
It’s that time of the year again, when PlayStation owners should postpone all their evening plans and plonk down in front of the TV - as Sony’s State of Play showcase is back.
Sony has promised glimpses at 14 different titles across the 30+ minute runtime of this event, with updates on both PS5 and PS VR2 games.
It’ll be a lightning quick event compared to last year’s two-hour session, but we’re excited nonetheless.
In the event that you can’t stay up to watch the show live, don’t worry, as there will be plenty of ways to catch up in the morning.

PlayStation Showcase UK time
Sony’s PlayStation Showcase will start in the UK at 11pm BST. That is a couple of hours later than last year’s event, so you’ll either have to brave the late night or catch up with events tomorrow morning.
What will be shown at PlayStation Showcase?
As was the case last year, Sony has already promised updates on a bunch of PS5 and PS VR2 titles - 14, to be specific - as well as a new look at some first-party PlayStation Studios games that are set to arrive later this year.
This means there’s a good chance we’ll get a glimpse of Marvel’s Wolverine, Bungie’s revival of '90s shooter Marathon and some more information on the PS5 re-release of Supermassive Games' superb horror Until Dawn.
We’re also holding out hope for updates on third-party games rumoured to launch later this year, such as the Silent Hill 2 remake, Metal Gear Solid 3 remake and maybe even Devolver Digital’s The Plucky Squire.
